Creative Time

It is fun to have Sydney join in writing time! She has picked up on our enthusiasm for learning letters - she will make a mark on her paper and then say, "Yeah!!"

The Tower

Sydney loves to help - and she was scooting a chair up to the counter to be able to get involved. To help Sydney be safe and still be able to help in the kitchen Andy built a platform that allows Sydney to be at counter level. It's big enough for McKinzie and Sydney to walk around each other and work on projects together - we love it!

Hide and Seek

Hide and seek is the first game that McKinzie and Sydney played together. I used to carry Sydney around and she would giggle as I counted down McKinzie's hiding time! Now they usually like to hide together and giggle as I try to find them!

Rain, rain go away ...

It has been cold and rainy for a while, so we're getting creative! Colorful cheerio bracelets and necklaces did the trick yesterday! I was amazed that Sydney had the skill and patience to put the cheerios on the pipe cleaner! Both girls had fun working on their crafts (until Sydney decided it was time to make the cheerios fly off the table). Fortunately, Sydney loves to use the dustbuster!!

It's like magic!

We love the zoo!

We were so fortunate to have some wonderful weather for our trip to the zoo! McKinzie had a blast running around with her friends and Sydney had a great time pushing the stroller!

Bowling!

It has been cold! The day after Christmas we took the girls bowling for the first time! McKinzie had so much fun with her friends and Sydney had a great time too - it was a success!
