Our favorite time - grandparent visits!

We had a great time with Grandpa and Grandma Whiteman! Of course the time passed so quickly, but we packed in the fun with finger painting, bike riding, sprinklers and bounce house jumping!

McKinzie was so pumped after getting to spend time jumping around in the preschool blow up playground that she visited with Grandpa and Grandma W! She practiced her jumping in the mirror that evening!

Fetch!

McKinzie and KC have a new bond. Normally KC loves to play ball, but sometimes McK catches her in the middle of a nap! The dogs have been so great with McKinzie, and McK is now big enough that their tails don't knock her over anymore! Our neighborhood pool is now open for swimming, so we've been having a good time in the water. McKinzie seems to have a great time wherever we go, so it has been a blast getting to take her out and about - although Andy has been taking care of both McKinzie and Beth as they caught a nasty cold last week!

Family Fun!

McKinzie has a front row seat on Dad's bike! We found a park with some scenic (and shaded!) bike trails, so we have a new family activity! Thanks Dad!!

The Best of News

It's the end of cold/flu/RSV season! We've been so fortunate that McKinzie has stayed healthy! And now the news we've been waiting for - it's time to start taking McKinzie out and about! We'd definitely appreciate your prayers for McKinzie's continued good health as we try out sunday school and other kid programs that hopefully Kinz will love!

We took McKinzie to Toys R Us for the first time to pick out something fun! We thought she would like a trike or something motorized, but when McKinzie found this little pink baby stroller nothing else compared! She zoomed around the store taking the corners on two wheels! It was a big hit!

Chatty Kinzie

McKinzie has made us laugh the past few weeks with her constant chatter - music to our ears! She is starting to be able to tell us what she wants with either the actual word or a McKinzie word. Yesterday morning she asked for a cracker! Kinz also loves to recline anywhere she finds a soft pile - her toy bin, fresh laundry, pillows - she cracks us up with her snuggling skills!

McKinzie has become quite the speed demon! She loves to run around! It took both of us spotting her last night as she cruised around the yard - it was great! If you can tell from her close up picture, McK has taken a few tumbles - into a rose bush and onto the driveway! But as we've experienced from day one, she's not going to give up! McKinzie also surprises us with her feats of strength! She picks up and carries or drags the craziest stuff around the house!
