Sweet Giggles

McKinzie giggles every time she watches this video! She loves playing airplane, swinging on the swing and hammock, diving into piles of pillows - as she says Go Go Go! Tons of fun for us! We're looking forward to hearing nonstop giggles when Grandma Hall, Kaylynn and Landon arrive!!

McKinzie likes to carry around her morning coffee mug, just like her mom! Mom, however, doesn't look quite as adorable at 6 am!

On the go!

McKinzie is now on the charts -10th percentile for both length and weight!! 30 inches and 20 lbs! We're praying that she stays well through the rest of this cold and flu season as her lungs grow and develop. Last year she received monthly shots to help her fight off RSV http://www.rsvprotection.com/ This web link will give you all the details about RSV (we didn't know what it was before either!) and why we're being so protective with McKinzie's health! Insurance denied us the preventative shots this year - so our new team of docs in Houston are telling us to be cautious until RSV cases in the local hospitals are down (the end of flu season). From the pics you can tell we're still having a blast! McK loves to run, laugh and play!

We're Moving!

We're packing up once more! Andy is on his way today to Houston with our first load. God has definitely blessed us with some great adventures through our travels and new family! Although we're going to miss our dear friends and probably the quiet life we've had in San Antonio we're excited to settle in and reconnect with old friends and stomping grounds.

Good News

McKinzie had a great visit with the preemie specialist team that has been following her progress. She is tested on the Bayley scale of development which measures her cognative and motor skills. Even after having to wake up early on a rainy morning McKinzie still tested at her adjusted age (11 months) for cognative and at her actual age (14 months) for fine and gross motor skills. She is right on track and even ahead of schedule as far as the doctors are concerned. And as all this is wonderful news, we were strongly cautioned again to keep McK as healthy as possible during this cold and flu season. Her lungs are still at a crucial point, so we are staying away from stores, restaurants and people in general to avoid any more hospital time!
