giggles and wiggles

We couldn't have imagined how much fun it really is to be McKinzie's parents. Her smiles and giggles, new feats and discoveries are a part of each day now, and who could ask for more.

May will bring a flurry of doctor appointments and home visits, so we should have a better picture of McKinzie's progress at 3 months development.

Tummy Time

Another milestone - McKinzie is now starting to lift her head up during tummy time! And she does it with gusto! It's fun to watch her take in this new perspective on the world. She also prefers to practice her newfound neck control from the safety of Daddy's chest.

All Smiles

Kinzie is loving life and growing like crazy! Today she weighed 10lbs and 8oz. She is smiling and talking to us every second she is awake, we are loving every bit of it. She is starting to sleep in 4 hour blocks at night now which is wonderful for mom and dad. A developmental specailist group for premature babies have been following McKinzie's progress and they are completely impressed with her development and see no signs of complications at all. She is a perfect and healthy little girl.

We took a road trip to the drive thru Zoo, and an Ostrich put its head all the way through the car to get the food. Kinzie slept through the whole ride but mom and dad had a ton of fun.
